Senior Marketing Executive

Location: BH7, Bournemouth

Position: 12-month FTC, full time, Monday to Friday 9.00am - 17.30pm

Salary: £24k - £30k DOE, OTE estimated as £33k

Our client, based in Bournemouth, specialise in providing accountancy solutions for Limited Company contractors and freelancers. Their ambition has always been to deliver excellent service, through excellent people. They are now seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to join their team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

The successful candidate will come from a strong marketing background. You will have previous experience of using your own initiative, working to agreed KPIs, and will work alongside Business Development colleagues, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager. You will be confident in your ability to contribute to all aspects of the marketing function.

Duties will include:

Work with the Marketing Manager to develop campaign plans, ideas and propositions

Liaise with external design agencies to produce campaign materials such as emails, banner ads and landing pages

Create and send campaign emails using Campaign Monitor

Write, edit and upload (via WordPress) website content, including blog posts and guides

Liaise with third party partners to deliver and optimise campaign collateral and content

Ongoing management of social media platforms, specifically LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook

Work with Business Development colleagues to ensure all new leads are passed on and contacted

Ongoing campaign reporting, along with identifying ways to optimise results during the campaign period

Essential requirements:

Previous experience of working in a similar role

Practical experience of lead generation marketing

The ability to work well as part of a team

A polite, thoughtful and friendly attitude

Patience and calmness under pressure

Good computer skills (knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, excel in particular)

Strong interpersonal skills
